Reonoma Outlook Add-in

Follow the steps below to install the Reonoma custom Outlook add-in via our XML manifest file.

Install the Reonoma Add-in in Outlook

The Reonoma Outlook add-in lets your employees pre-register visitors directly from the calendar – without needing to open the portal. The add-in is installed via an XML manifest file provided by your administrator.

Prerequisite: You need administrator rights in Microsoft 365 or have received the XML file from your Reonoma administrator. Contact your administrator if you do not have the file.
1

Download the XML manifest file

Log in to the Reonoma admin panel for your organization at (yoursite).reonoma.com/admin. Under Settings → Outlook Add-in you will find a button to download the XML manifest file. Save the file somewhere easy to find – such as your desktop.

2

Open Outlook and go to Add-ins

Start Microsoft Outlook (the desktop app or the web version at outlook.office.com). Click the Home tab in the ribbon and then select Get Add-ins.

Home Get Add-ins
3

Open "My Add-ins"

In the dialog that opens, select the My Add-ins tab in the left sidebar. Scroll down until you see the heading Custom Add-ins at the bottom of the page.

4

Add custom add-in from file

Click the plus sign (+ Add a custom add-in) and select Add from file… from the dropdown menu. Navigate to the XML file you downloaded in step 1 and click Open.

5

Confirm the installation

A warning dialog will inform you that the add-in is not verified by Microsoft AppSource. Click Install to continue – this is normal for organization-specific add-ins. The add-in will now appear in your Outlook toolbar and is ready to use.

6

Pre-register a visitor

Open or create a calendar invitation in Outlook. Click Pre-register visitor in the ribbon. Fill in the visitor's name and select a host – the information is sent directly to Reonoma and the visitor will be received more smoothly upon arrival.

Having trouble with the installation? Make sure your Microsoft 365 administrator has enabled the ability to install custom add-ins in the organization settings, or contact Reonoma support via the contact form.

Fire List

The Fire List gives the fire safety officer a real-time overview of all visitors currently in the building. The list is used during an evacuation to ensure that all visitors have safely exited.

The fire list is accessible to authorized fire safety officers via two methods:

Via email If you are registered as a fire safety officer, you can request a direct link to the fire list by sending an email to (yoursite)@reonomavisiting.com. You will then receive a link sent to your registered email address.
Via direct link in the browser Visit (yoursite).reonoma.com/fire in your browser. You log in with your regular Reonoma credentials. The page is only accessible to accounts with the Fire Safety Officer role.
Authorization: The fire list is protected and requires the Fire Safety Officer role in the Reonoma system. Contact your organization's Reonoma administrator to be assigned this role.
